a little update!

As you can probably tell I am not into blogging these days. There just doesn't seem to be enough time in the day for all I want to do. And well honestly blogging is like the last thing on the list. I am trying to cook more and spend more time with the boys. And the list goes on and on and on. I know that some of you have it all worked out, but it has been a rough transition for me. I know that I am a baby and I do not mean to sound like I am complaining. I had no idea how difficult it was to have more than one kid! Now I am learning. So I commend all of you who make it look so EASY!! I am open to any tips you might have. I do have to say that I totally love being a MOM! I remember thinking when I was younger that I wanted to be a mom when I got older. Now I am living that dream. I am so thankful for a husband who supports me and makes that possbile! Thanks Chris! Here are some pics of what we have done lately. Hopefully I will get more to you soon!!
Parker and Madison--If you can't tell Parker was stealing her pacy! He put it in his mouth then tried to put it back in her's. It was so cute. They loved looking at each other and talking. It was adorable!
Speaking of adorable! I just had to take a picture. Landon loves to cuddle. I hope he does not grow out of it anytime soon!
Landon has really grown to love Parker. Thank goodness! I always think they look so cute in their church clothes!

adorable pics! Julie you are a great mom! Hang in there! NO mom has it ALL figured out, if they say they do, they are big fat liars! Cause if someone had it figured out...we'd all be doing it!

You are so cute Julie! Laura is right - no mom has it figured out. I'm just trying to survive from one day to the next like the rest of you! But your boys are so cute! Wish I could see you more than once a lifetime! :)

No worries. I had a tough time as well. I'm still trying to figure it all out. Don't be too tough on yourself. Things I have learned are (1) some kind of physical activity is crucial to your overall well-being and (2) time for yourself. Everyone would tell me, "you need time for yourself" but it took a while to actually do it. We decided a weekly night for me whenever I needed just to go out and do something (not grocery shopping b/c that's what I did as my 'alone time' for a while). Don't assume others have an easier time, because that simply isn't true. Heck, I'm telling you a weekly night for yourself even if it's just 30 mins. but I don't always do that.

If you are staying busy with your little ones then you are doing a great job. Right now they need you most of the time so enjoy it and when it doesn't seem so enjoyable tell Chris you need to go out for a little bit. You'll miss them like crazy and return all too quickly. It is a process, it has been for me. If you learn anything new, let me know.
